Hello! I'm Traci Geiser, author, educator, and lifelong learner. I started my writing career by penning twenty-five teacher resource books published by Scholastic, Creative Teaching Press, and Teacher Created Resources. I've authored dozens of articles for Education.com and created educational activity kits for my former small business, Little Hands Learning Company (featured in the Denver Business Journal and on Denver's Fox 31 News channel). I have an AA in Early Childhood Education, a BA in Music Education, and double MAs in Curriculum and Instruction and Professional and Creative Writing.
In addition to my passion for education, I am on a mission to promote emotional health, unconventional therapies, and brain research. I love writing fun, rhythmic picture books, and I'm currently working on creating fiction stories for all ages that incorporate non-fiction mental health topics. I hope to make mental health more normalized, and educate readers on conditions, groundbreaking therapies, and the latest in brain research, all within engaging stories you won't want to put down!
Outside of my professional life, I am Mom to four amazing teen and young adult children who are the lights of my life. I have three canine fur babies and live my life surrounded by the beautiful backdrop of Colorado Springs, CO. I love musical theatre, reading, crafting, and DIY projects.
My goal is to inspire and educate readers in hopes of being a small part of their journey to living their best lives. Thanks for stopping by!
